AutoMan © V2.5 provides all the facilities required to fully automate any OS/390 or z/OS system or multi-system complex.
- Scheduler dispatches, jobs, tasks and commands according to time, day, date and calender. Scheduler can dispatch multiple simultaneous activities. Routes orders and commands to partner systems according to schedule.
- Robot operator monitors the console and responds to events.
- Command lists enable powerful functions with simple console commands. Command lists may also be run in response to console activity and scheduled events.
- Single and Multi-Systems Automation
- Cross systems control via sysplex or shared disk channel. The shared disk channel enables users of OS/390 systems that do not support sysplex intercommunications to operate multiple systems. When they do upgrade, the switch to XCF is seamless.
- Powerful script language to define events and responses. Extracts and uses information from the console. Enables coloring, highlighting, or suppression of console messages. Multiple response actions to events. Submits jobs. Replies to messages. Issues console commands. Direct execution of user function code. Sends commands to partner systems.
- Identify console messages by message identifier, or by text content.
